The system provides both volunteers and administrators with a tool to streamline the process of getting the right volunteers to the right place at the right time.
For volunteers
In your inbox you will receive a list of events at your chosen organisation, some you have registered to participate, and others still looking for volunteers. For an upcoming event, a reminder is emailed to you with all the information about the event, where and when to attend and any notes about special requirements.
During the event, any last minute changes can be sent via text message and post event, your organiser has the ability to send follow up information direct to your email inbox.
Registration is a simple process and as well as recording your own contact details, you can record an emergency contact name and number as well as any relevant qualifications.
For Administrators
The system provides for setting up individual events, or loading a complete yearly calendar of events. Each event can have a template assigned to it making setup of recurring events a simple process. Events be a single or multi-day event.
Volunteers are invited to register with a preferred role and then assigned by the Administrator to detailed roles within groups and areas. When assigning volunteers to roles, administrators can view qualifications and previous roles that the volunteer has performed. Hours are logged against each volunteer and can be accumlated and reported over multiple events.
Emails to volunteers can be sent via a mail-merge facility allowing personalisation of bulk emails and all communications both email and text are saved and searchable in a Comms Log.
